ABOUT & PROJECT OVERVIEW
In this project, I focused on creating eye-catching, high-contrast YouTube thumbnails designed to drive viewer engagement. Through the use of bold typography, visual hierarchy, and vibrant color schemes, I developed thumbnails optimized for grabbing attention and conveying video content clearly. This project helped me explore the fundamentals of YouTube thumbnail design, emphasizing readability, layout, and contrast for maximum impact.
The project involved designing various types of YouTube thumbnails, including those for taste tests, travel channels, and graphic design tutorials. Key design principles included visual balance, text alignment, and the use of strong imagery to create narrative-driven thumbnails.

DESIGN PROCESS
Typography: I experimented with font sizes, typeface combinations, and emphasis on key words to make the text readable, even at small sizes.
Color & Contrast: Bright, high-contrast colors like yellow, turquoise, and deep purple were used to make the thumbnails pop, focusing on attracting attention in a crowded YouTube feed.
Image Manipulation: By selecting and refining key images such as hero shots and product visuals, I made thumbnails more dynamic and visually engaging.
Layering & Composition: I used various Photoshop tools to layer text and imagery, ensuring a balance between background elements and foreground focus.
Final Adjustments: To enhance the overall look, I used adjustment layers to sharpen images and tweak colors, ensuring the thumbnails looked professional and attention-grabbing.
